Música eletrônica, estilo e elegância: é o Life is a Loop no Planeta SC

Trio trabalha com elementos da música brasileira, fundindo de peso e musicalidade e criando um clima feliz

Um dos mais fortes grupos de música eletrônica do Brasil, que fundem elementos eletrônicos com percussão estará no Palco Central do Planeta Atlântida 2011 em Santa Catarina. É o Life is a Loop.

Quem vai roubar a cena no Planeta?

— Nossa vida é uma volta que não pretende parar tão cedo — afirma o trio formado pelo gaúcho DJ Fabrício Peçanha e os curitibanos DJ Leozinho e o baterista e percussionista Rodrigo Paciornik.

— A música eletrônica é construída através de diversas sonoridades repetitivas, marcadas sempre em oito tempos denominados loops. Existe algo que é construído através de diversos sentimentos quase nunca repetitivos, marcados sempre por momentos denominados life — explica.

Além do eletrônico, Life is a Loop também carrega, com bom gosto, elegância e na medida certa, alguns elementos da música brasileira, fundindo peso e musicalidade e criando um clima feliz, sensual e fino. Ao vivo, o projeto também conta com um set de decoração e identidade visual exclusivo que dialoga com a performance musical dos artistas no palco.

Bombas de papel, laser, projeção nos telões e mais uma série de efeitos especiais fazem parte do show. Confere o set dos caras.

DJ's apresentam single do CD "Malembe Malembe"

Luanda - Os DJ's angolanos Silyvi e Djeff apresentam e autografam nos dias 18 e 20 deste mês, em Luanda, o single do disco "Malembe Malembe", indica uma nota dos artistas, enviada hoje à Angop.

Segundo o documento, as vendas vão decorrer numa casa nocturna da capital do país e no Elinga teatro, onde o "duo dinâmico" vai por à disposição dos amantes de música electrónica quatro temas que os tornaram conhecidos na Internet.

Editado pela Milionário Records, o single é composto pelos temas "Tambuleno" (remistura do vocal tradicional do músico angolano Mamukueno e instrumentos electrónicos), "Elegom Bounsa", "Noba" e "Malembe Malembe".

"Elegom Bounsa nasce da fusão de House com o Kuduro e é interpretada pelo cantor Maskarado, com uma instrumentalização muito rítmica, lê-se no comunicado.

“Noba” é também um tema bastante especial, pois conta com a participação do rap Virgul, membro do grupo português Da Weasel".

Trata-se de “beats que levam qualquer um às suas origens africanas e transformam numa verdadeira viagem”.

A nota acrescenta que o trabalho da dupla denominado na Internet "essenciais da Soulful house" tem sido alvo de muitos comentários em fóruns “on-line”, revistas como a 5Chicago, Blue e Soul Magazine, tendo chegado a top 100 de vários sites de vendas internacionais.

"Em menos de um ano, DJeff e Silyvi assinaram já pela editora da Anane Vega e Antonello Coghe, a Nulu Records e pela editora Soulgasm Music de Brian Coxx e Alias Rythm", refere o documento.

“Têm contribuído para a ascensão meteórica da dupla que agora apresenta o single do seu primeiro álbum no país”.

Em clima dançante, revista DJ Sound comemora 20 anos

Uma grande festa reuniu na noite de terça-feira (14) os destaques da música, em comemoração aos 20 anos da revista DJ Sound, primeira revista especializada em dance music, no Brasil. O encontro aconteceu na casa noturna Eazy, Barra Funda, São Paulo.

A noite reuniu DJs, artistas, empresários da música, em noite de muita agitação e homenagens. O evento reservou o Prêmio Finalistas do 'DJ Sound Awards 10', maior premiação da música eletrônica da América Latina, voltado para destacar as principais bandas e astros da temporada

Impressa pela primeira vez em 1990, a revista DJ Sound e fruto do idealismo de dois irmãos: Fernando e Ricardo Sarmiento. Remanescentes da era Disco, os irmãos não são fizeram diferentes do que muitos em qualquer cidade: com os equipamentos da época com pickups de madeirinha (as saudosas Sonata Rio), receiver, tapedeck, power e iluminação à base de barrinhas de seqüencial, strobo e luz negra, faziam shows em casas de famílias e pequenos espaços.

O embrião da revista DJ Sound veio por intermédio de um fanzine criado em 1989, um pequeno jornal denominado DJs In Concert, em formato tablóide, que fazia sucesso nas casas dançantes paulistanas como a Toco, Contra-Mão, OverNight, Rose Bom Bom, Up & Down, entre outras.

Revista elege os álbuns mais gays de todos os tempos

A revista Out Magazine elegeu os 100 melhores discos "gays”" de todos os tempos. A publicação temática entrevistou atores, músicos, comediantes, DJs e outras celebridades – homo e heterossexuais – para escolher seus favoritos.

O primeiro lugar ficou para "The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars", de David Bowie. "É até irônico que um homem heterossexual esteja no topo desta lista", comentou a revista.

Diva do público gay, Madonna apareceu cinco vezes na lista, com os álbuns "Madonna" (86º), "Confessions on a Dancefloor" (87º), "Erotica" (36º), "Ray of Light" (46º). Sua melhor colocação foi o 8º lugar, com a coletânea "Immaculate Collection".

As escolhas também incluem clássicos do gênero, como Abba, Cher e Donna Summer. Traz ainda artistas inusitados, como Nirvana (em 68º, com "Nevermind") e os Beatles em 100º (com "Sgt. Peppers Lonely Heart’s Club Band").
